Ordering Process

How do I place my first order?
  1. Choose your product — Browse shirts, pants, jackets, and more
  2. Select your fabric — Pick from over 6,000 fabrics in stock
  3. Customize your style — Choose collar, cuffs, buttons, pockets, etc.
  4. Enter measurements — Use our guide or send us a garment to replicate
  5. Checkout — Pay securely and we start making your garment

New customers can order our Trial Shirt to perfect measurements first.

Do I need to create an account?

No, you can checkout as a guest. After ordering, you'll have the option to create an account which saves your measurements for future orders.

Can I modify my order after placing it?

Yes, until production starts. Email us with your order number in the subject line and include all changes in one email. Once production begins, changes cannot be guaranteed.

How do I reorder with my saved measurements?

Add a note at checkout: "Please use measurements from my previous order #XXXXX". We'll use your saved pattern with the new fabric.

Can I order fabric swatches?

Yes! Email mail@luxire.com with the fabric names you're interested in. Swatches are free for customers planning to order.

Measurements & Fit

How do I provide my measurements?

You have several options:

  • Mensurations corporelles — Follow our measurement guide
  • Garment measurements — Measure a well-fitting garment you own
  • Send a sample — Ship us a garment to replicate (returned with your order)
  • Standard sizes — Select a size and we'll adjust from there
What if my garment doesn't fit?

We offer a Fit Guarantee. If the garment doesn't fit as expected, contact us within 30 days and we'll alter or remake it free of charge. Your updated measurements are saved for future orders.

Can you replicate a garment I already own?

Absolutely! This is one of the best ways to ensure a perfect fit. Ship your sample to us, we'll measure it, create a pattern, and return it with your new garment. You can even request modifications.

What is the measurement tolerance?

Our standard tolerance is ±0.5 cm. For washed garments, tolerance is up to 2 cm due to shrinkage variations. Knits have 5% tolerance as they naturally stretch.

Will my garment shrink?

Cotton fabrics shrink slightly on first wash — this is natural. We pre-wash most fabrics and account for shrinkage. Wash in cold water and avoid high-heat drying to minimize shrinkage.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Total time: approximately 5-7 business days

  • Production: 3 business days (for in-stock fabrics)
  • Shipping: 2-3 business days via FedEx/DHL

Mill-ordered fabrics add approximately 1 week to production time.

What are the shipping costs?
  • Germany, Austria, Switzerland: FREE on orders over €75
  • Rest of EU & UK: FREE on orders over €75
  • Rest of World: Calculated at checkout (or visit Luxire.com)

Do I have to pay import duties?

No. All prices on Luxire.de include VAT and import duties. The checkout price is your final price — no additional charges at delivery.

Non-EU customers: If you are outside the EU, you may prefer to shop at Luxire.com for region-specific pricing.

Can I track my order?

Yes! All orders ship via FedEx or DHL with full tracking. You'll receive an email with tracking information once shipped.

Where are the garments made?

All garments are made in our own state-of-the-art facility in Bangalore, India. The EU entity, Rirau Mode Technologien GmbH, is based in Munich, Germany. We also have an experience store in Munich where you can visit by appointment.

Retours et retouches

What is your return policy?

Because each garment is custom-made exclusively for you, we cannot offer traditional returns or refunds. However, we offer free alterations and remakes to ensure you get a perfect fit. Read our full policy.

What if my garment doesn't fit correctly?

Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. We will:

  • Alter the garment to improve fit (most common)
  • Remake the garment if alterations aren't possible (at our discretion)

Both options are free of charge.

How do I send back a garment for alterations?
  1. Email mail@luxire.com with your order number and fit issues
  2. We may ask for photos of the garment being worn
  3. Ship the garment to our India facility (address provided via email)
  4. We alter and return it within 2-3 weeks

We offer subsidized return shipping labels.

What's the timeframe for reporting fit issues?
  • Report issues: Within 30 days of receiving item
  • Return for alteration: Within 45 days of delivery

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and Shop Pay.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees. The price at checkout includes the garment and shipping (if you qualify for free shipping). Import duties, if applicable, are determined by your country's customs.

Do tariffs affect my US order?

No impact. What you pay at checkout is your final price for orders shipped to the US.

How should I wash my shirts?
  • Machine wash cold or warm (not hot)
  • Use mild detergent
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Iron while slightly damp for best results
  • Unbutton collar and cuffs before washing
How should I care for wool pants?
  • Dry clean recommended for wool
  • Brush after wearing to remove dust
  • Hang on proper trouser hangers
  • Let rest 24 hours between wearings
  • Steam to remove wrinkles instead of ironing
How do I care for linen garments?
  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
  • Line dry or tumble dry low
  • Iron while damp on medium-high heat
