This has the look of raw denim but is lighter weight and has a bit of stretch, making it much more comfortable. Luxire did a great job on the construction as well. It's my second pair of jeans in this fabric - the first, I had lined with flannel for cold winter days. These two are my most worn jeans in fall/winter.
This denim has just enough stretch to retain its shape after a few wears but enough heft to still provide structure. The indigo is also a greenish cast and has a slightly more grained handfeel than other indigo denim offered on Luxire (like the 15 oz denim).
Perfect Fit, great fabric, good construction. Luxire is the only way I get pants that actually fit and I've never been disapointed with an order. thanks.
These are pretty nice except for a few things. The zipper is terrible, like not the typical size used on jeans. I feel like it will break every time I work it. My pair was slightly off in the fit based on my measurements, I’m not sure what the acceptable margin of error is? Half an inch difference in the knee really affects the whole leg taper though. Lastly, the front pockets aren’t as deep as most of the jeans I have worn.
It seems like every other time I make an order the trousers don't quite fit. This time I made minor adjustments to my established measurements but they can't account for how very tight the set of two pairs got. For the set of just one pair of pants (my dad's measurements) the shift was towards to large even though the new measurements for this pair had a slight decrease compared to last time. Over all we like these jeans very much but the seaming lack of reproducibility might not make it worth our while.
