I love the fit, quality and style of this
shirt. It’s the fifth one I have ordered from you. I’m a big fan of your shirts now!
Larger patterned shirts are normally viewed as less formal, but the rich color and texture of this fabric challenges that notion. The quality of the fabric and the attention to detail when crafting was evident the moment it was unboxed. The pattern goes just as well with jeans and chinos as it does with a sportcoat. Highly recommend this one.
The pattern of the shirt is very subtle, yet impactful. From a distance it looks like a deep, solid violet color. However as you get closer the subtle pattern becomes visible. The fabric is light and can be dressed up or down with formality of pants. The fit was excellent as usual.
My first time buying MTM pants and they're great. I definitely messed up with some of the measurements I gave, but that's on me. The tailoring around my backside was perfect though, and I usually struggle with that in pants!
I love it 👏 Do you have the white one by chance?
The fabric was soft and comfortable right from the beginning without needing to be broken in. It feels quite substantial and like it will last a long time though. The colour is a very dark grey - somewhere between charcoal and black. It’s showing the tiniest amount of fading at the seams after one wash, so I think it will fade a bit over time. No shrinkage after one wash as far as I can tell, so expect them to be true to size when ordering.
Another great shirt from Luxire. As with my last shirt, they followed my measurements exactly. The fabric is one of the best OCBD fabrics I have come across - soft but robust. The navy is the perfect shade for a university stripe oxford in my opinion.
Really happy with the fabric. It's a great spring/summer/autumn weight and has no nasty sheen to it.
Definitely worth the price. Very heavy so great for those colder days.
The fabric is nice - a little heavy for the hottest days, but excellent for the rest of the year. Stretch is minimal, but does provide comfort, and the drape is pretty food for cotton. As usual, Luxire got the dimensions just right and the construction is top notch.
Id like this review to be be useful to other customers. As such I'll separate it into five parts:
1) Presentation, packaging and shipping - 5 stars
2) Following instructions - 5 star
3) Execution (following my custom measurements) - 5 star
4) Workmanship (cutting, sewing, attaching buttons, finishing, pressing) - 5 star
5) Fabric: the only part I am somehow disappointed with. Was looking for a quality chambray shirt. Originally, I selected a darker shade (faded black). However the other reviews made me change my mind and choose this fabric (although on the expensive side). All reviewers mentioned the high quality: thicker than it seems and very soft.
What I received is neither thick, nor soft. A medium thickness at best and not soft at all. Feels like other shirts sold online. That made me think maybe the other reviewers were referring to a different fabric (some dating a few years back)? Or perhaps a mistake was made and different fabric was used when tailoring my shirt?
Elevated & refined greyscale herringbone trouser with a soft and fine hand. A more casual little brother that shares some of the character of morning-wear trousers.
Like the previous reviewer, I haven't tried mine on yet. The anticipation is joyous!
Made these as high-rise 5 pocket pants. While the Genoa fabric isn't anything exotic or unusual, it is a really nice, high-quality light wearing spring/summer cotton fabric with a little stretch. I was a little worried the fabric would look too synthetic (like "performance" pants) based on Luxire's product pics, but in real life I am very pleased that it looks like a nice, natural cotton. While the fabric is smoother than many other fabrics, it is not the point of looking synthetic... when you look really close there is twill ribbing and there is no sheen to them. While the pants are not too wrinkle prone, they do have a nice natural cotton rumple.
Attached pics are after a wash and line dried. I washed on normal cycle, warm water, machine dried for 10 min, then line dried the rest of the way and got zero noticeable shrink anywhere.
You can notice a little stretch as you move around in the pants, but they are not too stretchy or elasticized. The waist has a little give to it, but still holds tension.
Amazing deep violet color that is bold but not too bright, perfect for putting a bit of color and interest into an otherwise classic outfit.
I’m very impress with the pants, it’s not my first pants and it will not be my last.
Many thanks,
G.
A great fabric. Should be just right for spring and summer. Design and fit are spot on!
Very vibrant fabric, as pictured. Construction was great and to measurements. Fabric does need ironing - it's not wrinkle-resistant - but it's not super wrinkle-prone either, and very easy to iron. It's on the heavier side; pretty opaque, and a smooth, substantial handfeel.
